We know this is an exciting time for you, your partner, your friends, and your families. Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge (Cedar Run) would be delighted to serve as the venue for both your ceremony and reception, or simply as the perfect location for your ceremony.
Start your new journey together on our 171 acres of protected land that creates a picturesque backdrop for your special day. Includes access to outdoor ceremony space, pavilions, indoor restrooms and get ready space.
Renting space at Cedar Run is easy, customizable and can include both indoor and outdoor spaces to make your special day shine. Weddings held at Cedar Run are available all year round. Some dates may not be available due to on-site special events.

Nature Center Covered Pavilion – 70 seated
Wildlife Housing Area Covered Pavilion (ceremony only) – 30 seated
Outdoor Amphitheater (ceremony only) – 50 seated

Full Facility Package
9 hour event rental: $2,600
Day-of-Coordinator: $450
Rehearsal (1 hour): $100
Additional time per hour: $300

Benefits & FAQs
What are the benefits of a full facility rental?
Not only are you supporting your local wildlife, community and the environment, but your wedding is completely customizable. Choose your own food, drinks, and decor to bring in (review our prohibited items in the FAQ or wedding brochure). You will also receive:
- A celebration gift at the time of your booking! (this is our swag bag)
- 1-year membership for the couple!

- Supporting a nonprofit at the start of your union!
What items are prohibited during my wedding?
For the safety of you and the native animals that call Cedar Run home, the following items are prohibited:
- No gas lanterns, tiki torches, unattended fire, or any open flame of any kind.
- No smoking or vaping of any kind
- No fireworks
- No balloons, party confetti, or glitter
- No bird seed/rice throwing
- No domestic animals (cats/dogs)
Is there enough parking on-site for all our guests?
Parking is available on-site for your guests. Cedar Run has parking for over 100 vehicles. All renters and their guests must park in the overflow lot located along the entrance from Jackson Road, with the exception of those guests with state-issued handicapped placards.
Is there electricity in the outdoor spaces?
We know that power is an important part of your event. Cedar Run has some limitations to power availability. Due to the set up & safety of our wildlife we do not have power in our amphitheater
Power is easily accessible for your reception in the covered pavilion, there are outlets on all sides of the pavilion. No extension cords can be provided by Cedar Run.
What if it rains on my wedding day?
Should there be rain or other inclement weather for your outdoor event, your ceremony can take place under our covered pavilions (up to 30-70 guests) or indoor community room (up to 40 guests).
Can I have an animal a part of my wedding day?
Yes! Surprise your friends and family with an extra special guest, like one of our resident Wildlife Ambassadors (all wildlife is handled by Cedar Run staff). With this unique addition to your wedding, we are sure to make your special day a remarkable one that everyone will remember. Your rental fee supports our nonprofit mission to continue educating our community and protecting our native wildlife and habitats in New Jersey. Cedar Run is Your Place in the Wild.
