Join us for an exhilarating Night Hike at Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge, where we’ll delve into the captivating world of nocturnal animals under the cover of darkness.

As the sun sets, the refuge comes alive with the activity of creatures that thrive after nightfall. Led by our educators, this approximately 1-mile hike will take you on a journey through moonlit trails as we explore the habitats of Cedar Run’s nocturnal residents.

From the elusive owls and stealthy raccoons to the mysterious opossums, you’ll learn about these fascinating creatures and their unique behaviors, adaptations, and the important role they play in the ecosystem. A special guest will also make an appearance!

Throughout the hike, our experienced guides will share captivating stories and fascinating facts about the nocturnal animals that call Cedar Run home. Gain insight into their nighttime behaviors and discover the secrets of their survival in the darkness of the night.

This program begins at 8:00pm and runs 1hr+ depending on our findings, not to exceed 90 minutes. Ages 8+ please. $15/adult, $10/child. 20 participants maximum. Advanced registration required.
