Refuge Ramblers Payment
Join us for a fun and engaging program focused on a fun book each week. There are two days – Wednesday or Thursday – to choose from to meet your scheduling needs (same lesson runs each day, so please only choose one).
We will read, do a craft and head outside on an adventure about the week’s theme. 10-11am. Ages 3-5. $8/child with adult. Space is limited to 8 children. Face masks are required when social distancing isn’t possible. Temperature check and health screening at check-in. Advanced registration required.

Get the kids unplugged and outdoors this winter! Take a break from virtual learning and delve into real world learning on Cedar Run’s 171 acres.
- Small group sizes – 8-12 children per group, dependent on age. Masks required when social distancing isn’t possible. Temperature check and health screening at check-in.
- Two days to choose from – Choose from a Wednesday OR Thursday afternoon session (same topic runs each day so please only choose one).
- Two hours of Nature’s classroom time – 1:30-3:30 pm
- Two age groups – K-1st and 2nd-5th. In the event of small groups sizes, groups may combine.
- Sign-up for the whole month and save! Single session: $12/member, $15/non-member; 4 session discount: $40/member, $55/non-member.

Outdoor Afternoons Payment

In celebration of the “International Day of Women & Girls in Science” we’ll explore women’s contributions to the fields of biology, engineering, ecology and chemistry. Perform a DNA experiment, design and construct animal enrichment, investigate ultraviolet light, and delve into wildlife populations. Children should dress for the weather and plan on spending the afternoon entirely outdoors. 1:30-4:30pm. Grades 4th-8th. $24/non-member, $20/member. Space is limited to 10 children per group. Face masks are required when social distancing isn’t possible. Temperature check and health screening at check-in. Advanced registration required.
Mini Day-Off Payment
Children ages 12 and under will receive FREE admission when they bring in a handmade valentine for one of our resident animals!
Have a Heart this Valentine’s Day! Join us for a full day-off camp as we show our love and appreciation for our Resident Animals! We’ll create heart-themed enrichment for them to explore and play with. Make a special Cedar Run valentine for your family and friends! Children should dress for the weather and plan on spending the day entirely outdoors. Bring a lunch, snack and water bottle. 9am-3pm. Grades K-5th. $60/child. Refuge Ramblers Payment
Winter is often the best time of the year to locate owls in the forest as they are in the midst of nesting season. Program begins at the Outdoor Pavilion (with heaters!) for an up-close experience with our resident owls followed by a hike on the trail in search of our local species. Please dress accordingly and wear comfortable shoes. No flashlights, please. 5:30-7:30pm. Suitable for ages 8 and up. $15/non-member, $5/member. Advanced registration required.
