Join us for a fun and engaging program focused on a fun book each week. There are two days – Wednesday or Thursday – to choose from to meet your scheduling needs (same lesson runs each day, so please only choose one).
We will read, do a craft and head outside on an adventure about the week’s theme. 10-11am. Ages 3-5. $8/child with adult. Space is limited to 8 children. Join us for a morning of photography. Our trained staff will bring select birds out of their enclosures for photographing up-close and personal on perches and in a natural setting. This program will be limited to 12 participants. Masks required when social distancing isn’t possible. Temperature check and health screening at check-in. 9-11am. $50/member, $60/nonmember. Raptor Photography Session
Experience the refuge in an exciting way, at night! Enjoy a guided hike at night to visit nocturnal habitats that are home to owls, raccoons, opossums and other wildlife that emerge after dark. Be there as the ‘night shift’ awakens. Program begins at the Nature Center. Hike is approximately 1 mile. $10/person. Suitable for ages 8 and up. Advanced registration required.
