Eager for spring? Bluebirds will be returning to our area soon, but in some areas they may have trouble finding homes. Learn about how to help bluebirds and build a nest box to take home. Prior to building, our Educators will discuss information regarding the natural history and habitat needs of the Eastern Bluebird. Information and tips needed for installing and maintaining a successful bluebird nest box to encourage bluebirds to your property will also be covered.
1:30-3pm. Recommended for ages 5 and up. Box kits are $35 each (for up to 5 participants). Fees do not include Refuge admission. Space is limited to 10 families. Advanced registration is required.
