Please join us on December 18th for the 2022 Woodford Cedar Run Christmas Bird Count! This will be Audubon’s 123rd Christmas Bird Count, where all across the world, people gather to count birds! This count data will then go towards conservation efforts to help the wildlife in your area!

All birding levels are welcome! Please bring your friends and family to come together as a team, or come by yourself! Please take advantage of the ‘Sign-up Genius’ below to select your time slot. 45-minute time slots will run from 7:00am to 3:00pm on the 18th. We understand that 7:00am is early, but the best birding takes place in the morning hours! At each time slot, there will be designated walking trails to sign up for or a stationary position where you (the counter) will remain in one position for the duration of your time. Please do not worry; if your first choice time slot is taken, please consider coming at an earlier or later time. Children are welcome, but we require that anyone under the age of 16 be accompanied by an adult.

*Note: we ask that all participants arrive 15 minutes before their designated time slot for a brief review of count materials and protocols for the day (information will also be emailed to you for review at home!)

This is a free volunteer event, but donations to support our work are always welcome!

We hope to see you there!
