AFP Icon: 2024 Chamberlain Scholarship Award Winner

Yesterday celebrated National Philanthropy Day, a day to celebrate the extraordinary changes that fundraising and philanthropy have helped to create an impact in our community, and celebrate the charitable work that everyone does to make a difference.
Tracey Bloodworth, Cedar Run’s Director of Development & Communications, was honored at our local Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) National Philanthropy Day celebration as the 2024 Chamberlain Scholarship Award Winner. With this scholarship, Tracey will have the opportunity to be able to attend AFP ICON, the largest global fundraising conference, to learn from and connect with other fundraising professionals and attend workshops and educational sessions. This 3-day fundraising conference will be a great opportunity for professional development & networking to be able to learn more ways to make the most impact at Cedar Run with our fundraising efforts.

AFP ICON is the world’s No. 1 fundraising conference, attracting more than 3,000 fundraising professionals each year. This conference is an unparalleled combination of fundraising training—with more than 100 education sessions to choose from, endless networking opportunities and an unforgettable experience over three days.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals empowers individuals and organizations to practice ethical fundraising through professional education, networking, research and advocacy. For 60 years, AFP has been the standard-bearer for professionalism in fundraising. Learn more about AFP, its activities and people, and how you can be involved.  Their vision is to stimulate a world of generosity and positive social good through fundraising best practice.

Please help us congratulate Tracey on this achievement! And safe travels as she migrates to Toronto this coming April for the AFP ICON conference.
