Please help us welcome our new Executive Director, Mike O’Malley!

Many of you may already know Mike! Mike has been a part of the Cedar Run team for quite a long time! Mike joined our team over 10 years ago as an intern in the Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital and has served as Assistant Director of Wildlife Rehabilitation, Volunteer Coordinator, and most recently as Director of Operations.

Mike holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Stockton University and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from LaSalle University. Mike is a licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator in the state of NJ and is a Certified Wildlife Rehabilitator with the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Association of Wildlife Rehabilitators (NJAWR) and on the Wildlife Rehabilitators Advisory Committee with the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife.

The future at Cedar Run is shaping up to be a time of renewed energy and exciting changes that will build upon the legacy of the Woodford family. Mike is honored to serve as Executive Director, continuing to fulfill the mission of Cedar Run to protect and preserve our native wildlife and habitats through education, conservation and rehabilitation. Mike brings proven experience and leadership, established relationships, and a passion for our mission that will help to fuel our continued success. Our staff, volunteers, and Board of Trustees are thrilled to welcome Mike into his new position and excited to continue to work together to protect and preserve our native wildlife!
