Wonderful Wildlife Weekends
Visit Woodford Cedar Run’s Pine Barrens Education Center for mini-exhibits and special programs with a monthly theme. Live animals, themed crafts, puzzles and artifacts highlight the topic. Explore the nature trail surrounding beautiful Cedar Run Lake and visit the Refuge’s wildlife residents along the way. Saturdays 10 am - 4 pm ~ Sundays 1 pm - 4 pm (weekdays 10 am to 4 pm). Included in Refuge admission: $5 adults, $3 children, three & under and members free. No reservations needed. |

Birding Basics

Join our naturalist to learn some of the basic skills of birding.
We will discuss field marking and silhouettes. You will hear some of the
common bird calls and discover who they belong to.
You will also get to test your skills on our nature trail.

Butterflies, Beetles, and Other Bugs

Join our naturalist to discover the buggy world of the pines.
We will explore a wetlands area in search of dragonflies, investigate a rotten
log for some beetles, and sweep the uplands in search of butterflies.
