Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge offers internship opportunities in both environmental education and wildlife rehabilitation. While our primary season for internships is during the summer break from college, we may also be able to provide internship experiences throughout the school year.
Additionally, we can provide work study/ volunteer experiences to high school students seeking project based community service. All volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.

When submitting a resume for WILDLIFE CARE internships, please let us know if you have been rabies vaccinated. While we do offer internships to candidates without the vaccine, priority is given to those with the vaccine because they can work with a greater variety of our animals.
Deadlines for Summer 2015 Internships are:
- March 31, 2015 for Wildlife Care Internship
- February 15, 2015 for Environmental Education Internship
If you have questions about a volunteer experience for high school students, please call our education department at 856-983-3329 x 103.
