Board of Trustees

Jeanne A. Woodford

President and Co-Founder

Ted Rosenberg

Chairperson

Ted has been an attorney who has practiced locally for over forty years. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Villanova Law School. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, particularly his granddaughter. He is an avid runner who is scheduled for his 15th marathon. Ted is enamored with the mission of Cedar Run and admires his fellow Trustees, the dedicated employees, and the wonderful volunteers. He is honored to be a member of the Board.

Rose DiMeo

Vice Chairperson

Rose has been an attorney for 35 years, the majority of which has been in the field of civil defense litigation. She is a graduate of Villanova Law School. Rose and her children have volunteered at animal shelters, fostered dogs, and been involved in socializing guide dogs. She has  shared her home with many furry rescues in years past. Her love of nature has drawn her to visiting and exploring the National Parks: Yellowstone, Yosemite, Acadia, Grand Canyon, Bryce, and Mount Ranier, to name a few.

The hard work, devotion, struggles and victories of Cedar Run’s staff and volunteers  in rescuing and rehabilitating injured animals in need, and in nursing orphaned wildlife , with the mission of returning them to their natural habitat, but also providing a caring, permanent home to those who are not well enough to return to the wild, had me hooked on their mission from day one.

Rose is honored and privileged to be part of the Cedar Run “family” and to contribute her skills and time to this worthwhile mission of wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and outreach education. Thank you Cedar Run for the opportunity!

Scott Sutton

Vice Chairperson

Scott is the President & CEO of Burlington Press, a printing and marketing service provider in Burlington, New Jersey. He has more than 2 decades of industry experience and is well-versed in directing creative development for businesses, nonprofit organizations, political campaigns and more.

Having worked with Cedar Run for many years, he’s made a lot of great connections within the refuge. So when he was approached about potentially joining the Board of Trustees, it didn’t take long to say “Yes!”

“Cedar Run is dedicated to the preservation of New Jersey’s wildlife and habitats,” said Scott. “That’s a mission we should all care about, and support.”

Scott lives across the river in Bucks County with his wife and son. The Suttons are avid supporters of animal shelters and have 3 cats, all adopted from local organizations.

Russell J. Batdorf

Treasurer

Russ spent the majority of his professional career as a Certified Public Accountant, working with family owned businesses in successfully achieving growth objectives, with the last sixteen years as Global VP of Finance for Radwell International, Inc., prior to his retirement.

Russ is a graduate of St. Joseph University and was a member of the NJ Society of CPA’s and the American Institute of CPA’s. In 2018, Russ was a finalist in the NJBIZ CFO of the Year, for Private Companies.

Russ and his wife, Adrienne, reside in Egg Harbor Township, NJ and enjoy spending time with family and various outdoor activities. He enjoys training for and competing in duathlons and triathlons.

Russ became familiar with Cedar Run years ago after visits by his wife and grandchild and more recently when his granddaughter attended summer camp. Cedar Run’s commitment to wildlife rehabilitation, community participation in education, and the passion shown by dedicated staff, resulted in an easy “Yes” when asked to serve on the Finance Committee and as a Trustee.

Kristin Groark

Secretary

Kristin became a member of Cedar Run after becoming the Principal of nearby Cranberry Pines Elementary School and moving her family to Medford Lakes in 2019. She and her family have enjoyed countless walks through the refuge, participating in events, giving donations, and summer camp.

Kristin has always been an animal lover and has spent years volunteering for rescues and fostering. She loves the outdoors and teaching her boys the wonders of the natural world. Her favorite thing to do is nature photography, and she is always bird watching and trying to learn bird calls by ear.

Kristin is thrilled to bring her experience in education and leadership and love of wildlife and rescue to Cedar Run. It is an honor and privilege to join the Board of Trustees.
